CFC supports AB 940
CFC supports AB 940 (Weber), which requires that whenever a resident of a long-term health care facility receives notice of a discharge, a copy of that notice must be sent to the local long-term care ombudsman within 24 hours. California’s 35 local long-term care ombudsmen are the eyes and ears for the residents of California’s long-term care health facilities. Automatically giving them notice of all discharges ensures a better chance of intervention if necessary.
