Consumer Federation of California Releases 2025 Legislative Scorecard
CFC Scorecard Highlights Key Consumer Votes in CA Legislature for 2025
For Immediate Release: December 23, 2025
Sacramento, CA – The Consumer Federation of California (CFC) today released their 2025 Legislative Scorecard for the 120 members of the California Legislature.
The CFC 2025 Scorecard tracks CFC’s sponsored and co-sponsored bills, as well as a number of other key bills that CFC supported for being pro-consumer or opposed for harming California consumers.
“After a number of years of not releasing a scorecard CFC is back with the first of what will be an annual event highlighting how all members of the California Legislature fared on key bills to either help or harm our 40 million consumers,” CFC Executive Director Robert Herrell said. “CFC has been working hard these past few years to highlight the critical importance of consumer issues. They are a key part of making life more affordable for all Californians, be it by eliminating junk and hidden fees in various industries, by protecting consumer privacy or in many other consumer protections.”
CFC is available to discuss with members of the media in more detail the specific voting records of members of the CA Legislature.
CFC had a very successful 2025, with six key CFC sponsored or co-sponsored bills signed into law by Governor Newsom. Click here for more details on those bills and others.
