January 28 is Data Privacy Day: Top 10 tips to protect your privacy

Data Privacy Day is an effort to empower people to protect their privacy, control their digital footprint, and escalate the protection of privacy and data as everyone’s priority.

Data Privacy Day began in the United States and Canada in January 2008, as an extension of the Data Protection Day celebration in Europe. It commemorates the 1981 signing of Convention 108, the first legally binding international treaty dealing with privacy and data protection.

Data Privacy Day is on January 28th every year.
