CONSUMER FEDERATION OF CALIFORNIA STATEMENT ON PROPOSED FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC) RULE BANNING JUNK FEES
“Simple, elegant and groundbreaking” says CFC Executive Director

Sacramento, CA – Consumer Federation of California (CFC) Executive Director Robert Herrell today issued the following statement in response to the FTC’s proposed rule banning junk and hidden fees:
“CFC strongly supports the simple, elegant and groundbreaking proposed FTC rule on junk and hidden fees and thanks President Biden and his administration for showing such profound leadership on this critical consumer issue. Consumers have had enough of junk and hidden fees and significant national relief is on the way.”
